Description
Buzzers or Chironomids are the most common aquatic insect in European stillwaters and feature an important part in the trouts diet.
This selection of flies include a variety of colours, sizes and weights to represent the wide sprectrum of buzzers you are likely to find on both small lakes and larger reservoirs. They are often fished as a team of three and retrieced with long slow pulls to make the flies rise and fall through the depths, or can be fished static under an indicator, letting the wind and currents create the fly movement.
Buzzer hatches start as soon as the water warms and continue throughout the season.
