At 2.74m the Plus 9ft Feeder has an average weight of just 4½ oz (120g) and is perfect when fishing from platforms and tight swims on commercial fisheries when the shorter length will also help to bring the fish closer in for swifter netting. The Plus 9ft Feeder has a parabolic playing action which is ideal for silverfish, F1s and small to medium sized carp.
The 10ft Plus is great for hard-fighting fish like tench, chub, F1s and match-sized carp. The smooth, parabolic playing action still copes really well when smaller fish are hooked. The relatively short 10ft (3.05m) length really helps to bring fish much closer in for ease of netting.
The 11ft (3.35m) length is the perfect all-round choice for ease of both casting and playing fish on a wide variety of venues. The rod has more power than the 11ft Ultra Feeder, which makes it an ideal choice for quality fish like bream, tench, chub, carp and F1s. However, the smooth, parabolic playing action still copes really well when reeling in smaller silverfish.
The 12ft (3.66m) rod has a super slim blank with plenty of backbone for casting feeders of up to 60g (2oz) with greater accuracy. Stand-off SiC guides also allow the line to flow smoothly for increased casting potential. This rod is ideal for medium to long range work up to 60 metres, but distances greater than this are achievable with the right tackle and a good casting technique.
Each rod comes with 1.5oz, 2oz and 2.5oz slim carbon push-in tips as standard which blend perfectly with the blank an interchange with other Acolyte Feeder models.
All the rods in the Acolyte Feeder family fold away into two even length sections. This allows it to be conveniently transported in a Rod Sleeve or Rod Case and assembled in seconds. Neoprene rod socks and a rod-retaining band are also included to help keep everything secure in transit.
