This hook pattern will stand up to being used for big fish in Europe, as well as being a great choice when fishing on snaggy or weedy venues in the UK, basically any situation where a bit of extra strength, compared to the size of the hook, is vital. Its shape lends itself to a wide variety of different rigs, both for pop-ups and bottom baits.
